I&S
Ian and I met at a church activity in Nov of 2012
Our first date was 5 days after meeting each other, (Thanks Becaham) I wasn't even sure I liked him.
And So he drove me to this cool spot where I actually thought he was going to kill me.
I'm just kidding. It was just a road that had closed on our way there.
I thought he was the coolest guy around. Which still holds true to this day.
We continued to date for the next two years it truly has been the best of times.
I fell in love with him and his big family.
He would support me in school, come to family dinners and sit through brunches with my father as we talked about gross medical stuff. Oh the stories he heard :)
I learned to sit still and love barbershop and would go to ALL his performances.
I'm his personal cheerleader.
Ian had always planned to serve a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints,
However plans for that had changed in the year of 2012 as Ian had to postpone his Mission for another year.
New year, New us
Our focus became strengthening our relationship and to get him back on track.
His calling came (2nd time)
My heart began to break as I realized how soon he would be leaving me for 2 years while he served in the Pen, Philadelphia Spanish Mission.
He was called to report on Aug 20th 2013
A day before his 24th birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN!
I wont go "too" much into our engagement story since that is still being written but all I will say is that we are incredibly happy together while being miles and miles apart. So Stay tuned to hear more.
Anway, Here's to writing the love of your life who's on the other side of the country via email.
While Ian is serving I will be in Luxembourg doing my thing,
being an Au Pair and studying French and German.
Ian's actually more excited for me than I am because lets me honest... I am terrified.
He is my greatest blessing and he is truly my best friend. Because who else would I chase around the house?
So again, here's to the next year and a half of being a part and growing on our own but most importantly growing together.
I love you Elder Kelly.
Double infinity X infinity + 1
